~Digital banking upgrade will provide improved member experiences, expanded business services, and a scalable foundation for future growth~

BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEMBERS1st Community Credit Union (‘MEMBERS1st’) has selected Mahalo Banking’s Thoughtful Banking® platform as its new digital banking provider to enhance the member experience, expand business banking capabilities, and support the credit union’s long-term growth and digital transformation initiatives

As MEMBERS1st prepares to transition to Corelation KeyStone, the credit union saw an opportunity to modernize its digital banking experience. Mahalo stood out for its seamless core integration, customization options, and flexibility to support MEMBERS1st’s strategic goals both today and in the future.

“Changing our digital banking platform allowed our team to think more broadly about what digital banking should look like for our members over the next five to ten years,” said Nick Tonelli, CEO of MEMBERS1st. “Mahalo offered the flexibility to customize the experience around our needs, introduce new capabilities and continue building on our digital strategy as our organization and technology needs evolve.”

A key priority for MEMBERS1st is expanding the digital services available to its business members. Mahalo’s business banking capabilities will now give the credit union more options to support growing commercial relationships, including tools such as native QuickBooks integration and other business-focused functionality. “Business banking represents a significant growth opportunity for our credit union, and our business members need digital tools that make managing finances simple and efficient,” Tonelli added. “Mahalo’s business banking capabilities will enable us to better serve those members today while positioning us to support future growth.”

The new solution will also support MEMBERS1st's efforts to strengthen member relationships and enhance the overall banking experience. By providing greater convenience and access to digital services, the credit union aims to simplify everyday banking while preserving its defining personal service. “Technology should complement personal service, not replace it,” Tonelli said. “Our goal is to give members more flexibility and convenient ways to manage their finances and provide the personal, local service they expect from us. Mahalo allows us to build on that approach while expanding the financial services we can offer our members.”

"MEMBERS1st has a clear vision for the future of digital banking, and Mahalo is committed to helping bring that vision to life," said Denny Howell, COO of Mahalo. "Our approach is centered on partnership, responsiveness, and continual innovation, ensuring credit unions have the flexibility and support they need to keep evolving their digital experience. We're excited to support MEMBERS1st as it advances its strategic goals and enhances service for its members."
